HON. SAUKURU URGES PARENTAL SUPPORT FOR YOUTH SUCCESS.

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Honorable Jese Saukuru, emphasized the importance of parental support for youth success while attending the church service at Nahigatoka village in Sigatoka.
He stated that the Ministry is always ready to assist the youth of Fiji and encouraged them to take advantage of the programs offered for their development.
Hon. Saukuru said that the Ministry grant, with a maximum of $5000, is open for youth clubs to apply for, with the deadline set for October 12th.
He urged the youths to stand up for their community, highlighting that youths aged 15-35 make up 32% of Fiji's population and 70% are under 40 years old.He stressed that they hold the key to the growth of the community and Fiji as a whole.
Hon. Saukuru called on parents to support the youths of Nahigatoka, as they are the future leaders of tomorrow, stating that youth success is only possible if parents support them, emphasizing the importance of supporting the youth in Fiji for a better future.
Today also marks the end of MYF week for the Fiji Methodist Church calendar, which concludes today.
