We are thrilled to share that the Minister of Youth and Sports Honorable Jese Saukuru , along with the Ministry Sports Coordinator, Mr Peni Baleilabasa recently paid a visit to the Kaiviti Silktail Gym in Australia today (28/06/2023).

This visit marked an important milestone in our support for the development of rugby league in Fiji and the growth of our beloved Kaiviti Silktails.

During the visit, Minister Saukuru and the Sports Coordinator Mr.Baleilabasa had the opportunity to witness firsthand the dedication, commitment, and hard work of the Silktails players and coaching staff. They were inspired by the passion and enthusiasm that filled the gym, as our talented athletes were put through their paces in intense training sessions.

The Kaiviti Silktail Gym has become a hub of excellence, providing a nurturing environment for our players to enhance their skills, physical fitness, and mental resilience. It serves as a testament to the determination and vision of our athletes, coaches, and support staff who have worked tirelessly to create a world-class training facility.

The Minister of Youth and Sports Honorable Jese Saukuru and the Sports Coordinator Mr.Baleilabasa also had the privilege of interacting with the players, exchanging ideas, and discussing their aspirations for the future. They were deeply impressed by the professionalism, sportsmanship, and strong sense of camaraderie displayed by the Silktails squad.

This visit reinforced the Ministry of Youth and Sports' commitment to supporting the development of rugby league in Fiji and providing opportunities for our talented young athletes to shine on the international stage.
