MINISTER FOR YOUTH AND SPORTS HON.JESE SAUKRU OFFICIATE THE KAIVITI SILKTAIL RUGBY LEAGUE FOOTBALL CLUB CHRISTMAS IN JULY FUNDRAISER.

The Minister of Youth and Sports Hon. The Kaiviti Silktail, also known as the Fiji Silktail or the Fijian Silktail, is a remarkable bird native to the islands of Fiji. Its unique appearance, with its long, ribbon-like tail feathers, has captivated the imagination of people worldwide.
Minister of Youth and Sports Honorable Jese Saukuru said that the Club was only established in 2020 but has since become a symbol of passion, resilience, and unity. The team's journey began with a vision to provide talented Fijian rugby players with an opportunity and the pathway to showcase their skills on the global stage.
Since their inception, the Kaiviti Silktails have embarked on a remarkable journey, competing in the Ron Massey Cup—a prestigious rugby league competition in New South Wales, Australia. Despite being a relatively new team, the Silktails have made their presence felt like a Kaiviti, earning respect and admiration through their impressive performances.
