The Minister for Youth and Sports Hon. Jese Saukuru Visited the Naqere Youth Training Center based in Labasa yesterday, Thursday (17.05.23).

Hon.Saukuru said the Ministry’s training programmes fulflls a much needed role in providing training and education that provide an education and knowledge based pathway for young people that had dropped out of the formal education sector.

The Minister of Youth and Sports Honourable Jese Saukuru, encouraged the students of Naqere Training Center in Savusavu to focus on their goals and study hard in school in order to become successful in life.

The Naqere Youth Training Centre provides non-formal education through its courses that develop market oriented skills for unemployed and rural based youth.

The Minister for Youth and Sports shared some sentimental word's of motivation, urging students that is never to late to be educated and rebuild their aspirations to a stable future.

The NaqereTraining Centre provides boarding facilities with the target of 50 youth to be trained with all costs borne by Government through the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
