Assistant Minister for Youth and Sports hands over welding equipment

 

Suva, October 17 – The Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports, the Honourable Iliesa Delana, handed over welding equipment to a youth applicant at the Ministry of Youth and Sports’ Headquarters today.
While handing over the equipment, the Assistant Minister acknowledged the efforts made by 29 year old, Mr. Inoke Buadromo, in setting up his own welding business.

“The Ministry of Youth and Sports continues to recognise and assist young people who are determined to move forward and grow in life,” the Assistant Minister said.
“This equipment are provided by the Ministry to enhance your business performance capabilities and assist you in growing your business.”
The Assistant Minister also stated that the Ministry has made positive inroads in the development of the youth sector in Fiji.
“Our Ministry is indeed privileged to be overseeing the vibrant youth sector in Fiji as we all know youths are the leaders of tomorrow,” he said.
“Youths bring about social change in communities and are usually seen as an inspiration.”
“By empowering the youths we are also laying a foundation for Fiji to have successful leaders and a vibrant workforce in the near future”, the Assistant Minister said.
Mr Buadromo was delighted to receive the equipment and thanked the Ministry for providing the much needed assistance.
“I have just established a welding business and am in need of welding equipment” he said.
“I am indeed grateful and would like to acknowledge the Fiji Government through the Ministry of Youth and Sports for the timely assistance provided to me.”
“I am honoured to receive this assistance as it will boost my career and I aim to become successful in the near future and contribute towards the productivity of our country.”
The Ministry of Youth and Sports continues to empower, provide training and sporting equipment to the youths in Fiji to ensure that they have vibrant, prosperous and healthy lives.
